Description

A warm and soothing drink made with fresh lemon juice, honey, and rosemary, perfect for cozy evenings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2-3 lemons)
  • 1/4 cup honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary leaves (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the fresh rosemary leaves. Cover and let steep for about 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the rosemary-infused water into a large mixing bowl or pitcher, discarding the rosemary leaves.
  4. Stir in the fresh lemon juice, honey, and salt until the honey is fully dissolved.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired.
  6. Pour the hot lemonade into mugs and garnish with lemon slices and additional rosemary sprigs.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy the warm, soothing flavors.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a slice of fresh ginger to the boiling water.
  • Substitute agave syrup or maple syrup for honey for a different flavor profile or to make it vegan.
